Got fiddle?
Karin Elizabeth, Lead

Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and international recording artist Karin E was born Karin Pierson in a small town in northern Michigan.  Her mother was a sixth-grade teacher and her father was a jazz musician.  Her parents divorced when she was two and she was raised by her beloved stepfather, Calvin, still her biggest fan.  While still a toddler, she began to learn violin from her Chinese Godmother, Shu, who was a Suzuki violin method teacher.  Thanks to supportive parents, Karin soon began to enroll in every music program available.  At age thirteen, Karin was accepted as the youngest choir member ever to tour Europe with the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp International Choir.  During high school, through the aid of scholarships Karin attended the prestigious Interlochen Academy of the Arts, and later taught there and played in the staff orchestra.  Her daughter Aria was born in 2001, soon after Karin finished her bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan.  Aria, age sixteen, is a budding artist herself in drawing, painting, singing and pottery.   After teaching orchestra in Detroit for five years, Karin decided to perform full-time and started the Remedy band in 2006, playing electric violin and singing at festivals, weddings, corporate parties and events.  In 2017 Karin moved to a tiny house as part of the minimalist movement, and decided to pursue original music and living on the road.  Her band, formed in 2017 with her partner Theophania Falls is called the Lofteez, and performs at festivals, outdoor venues, campgrounds and house concerts nationwide.  Check her out at

Karin Elizabeth and the Remedy Band

Emerson Hall Jr, Bassist

Remedy is proud to welcome new bass player Emerson Hall Jr!  Emerson, A.K.A. “Duney” was born on the West side of Detroit and began teaching himself bass from a very early age.  He grew up to become a true Motown bassist; playing professionally  with the funk brothers of Motown and performing with such national acts as Luther Ingram, Dennis Coffee, Scorpio and the Four Topps.  His playing can be heard on Luther Ingram’s hit song, “If Loving You is Wrong I Don’t Wanna Be Right.”  He has also performed locally with Alberta Adams, Priscilla Price and the legendary blues singer Thornetta Davis.  All in all, Emerson has been playing professionally for the past forty years; it is an absolute honor and privilege to have him!

Jo-Jo Moceri, Drums

Drummer Joseph, “Jo-Jo” Moceri  has played drums all around the world.  From the Europe to the Carribean, Africa to Egypt, New York to L.A, this monster drummer has graced all kinds of stages.  Jo-Jo has played drums for national acts such as Kid Rock and Sly and the Family Stone as well as well-known local acts like the Killer Flamingoes.  Featured as one of the top ten drummers on VH1 and also the show “Bands on the Run,” Jo-Jo’s expert playing has impressed audiences worldwide.  Jo-Jo is “having a blast” playing with Detroit’s most-booked band, Remedy.

Paul Moore, Guitarist

Remedy welcomes guitarist Paul Moore!

“Guitar is all I’ve ever known”

Remedy Entertainment is proud to welcome to the fold guitarist Paul Moore, aka “Pauly.” Born of Filipino and Irish decent, Paul’s parents encouraged him to play music at a very young age.  His mother started taking him to lessons when he was just seven.  By the time other kids were just starting to play, he already knew quite a bit on the guitar.  This knowledge has taken him far, through many bands including the acclaimed Michigan band Bridge, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels (whom Pauly still plays with on occasion); and now he joins the stage with The Remedy Band as Karin Elizabeth’s lead guitarist.  His playing style is both remarkable and unforgettable.  You won’t want to miss this Voodoo Child’s tasteful spin on Jimi Hendrix!  Pauly is excited to begin his new musical journey with Remedy!

Lily Suau, Keyboards

Multi-instrumentalist Lily Suau was born in Rochester, Michigan. She is well-versed in piano, guitar, and about twenty other instruments ranging from drums to marimba. She began her musical journey taking classical piano lessons when she was seven years old, and continued for over a decade. She was in eight bands during High School, including Oakland Youth Orchestra, the Falcon Marching Band, Pit Orchestra, Jazz Band, Rochester Community Band, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and her original band. When she is not playing in one of her many bands, she is writing and recording her experimental, mysterious compositions. Drawing on artists like Depeche Mode, Mac Demarco, and Air, Suau focuses on electronic, ambient tunes. Aside from her music career, she is studying computer science and mathematics at Oakland University while participating in multiple campus bands. Lily is thrilled to be expanding her music knowledge by working with Remedy and The Lofteez.
